Hola, my name is Jerome Dieu.
I am a professional photographer for 10 years now and specialized in weddings for 5.
I mostly worked in france and italy on fashion shows.
I felt in love with Cabo and his lifestye and decided to move my business here in 2005.
It is such a great place to photograph, the weather and the light are amazing all year long.
I am fluent in both spanish & english and love to photograph weddings!
My wedding photography concept is: “It’s your day and you have to enjoy it”.
My approach as a wedding photographer is to make your experience with me easy going, entertaining, professional and to provide you with unforgetable images.
I like to work with people who are fun and up for some creative shots, I try to meet with each couple before their wedding.
I have two associate photographers working with me and photograph weddings with a second photographer (optional).
When we work as a team:
I am the main photographer, focusing on everything that is happening, while second photographer capturing the candid moments.
Sometimes we do a split, which means we are covering your day at the same time, but in different locations.
For example: one of us is shooting the groom’s “getting ready”, while I am covering the bride preparation or during cocktail hour I might be shooting some formal pictures with bride and groom and family when second photographer is with the guests. This way, we cover everything and nothing is missing.
You will receive 1 proof CD with all your images (1000 px width) along with 1 “hard cover book” 8.5×11″ and a credit to purchase print products online directly from your gallery.
Planning the photographs for your wedding can be very simple. Through my years of wedding photography experience, I have fine tuned timing in and around the ceremony and reception.
I am happy to share all of my experience with you to help make your special day as fun & perfect as possible.
When photographing your wedding there are three styles of photographs I try to capture.
-First is the photojournalistic coverage of your entire wedding. These are the natural images of moments throughout the day from getting ready to your first kiss, to cake cutting, and finally your getaway.
-Second are the formal wedding portraits. These are usually done in one block before or after the ceremony. This is the time when you and your family get together to capture beautiful images of everyone on both sides of the family as well as your bridal party.
-The third style is what I like to call creative romantic images. These are portraits primarily of the bride and groom which are posed, but not in the formal sense.
Creative romantic portraits are those that show loving relationships and intimacy in fun and creative settings.
If there are any special wedding photographs you would like taken, please do not hesitate to ask. If during your wedding photography planning you see any particular images in the wedding magazines that you feel are especially romantic, don’t hesitate to cut them out and show them to me!
